MEET ASHLEY

I was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, I am the former chair of the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District board, the largest special district in the state of Oregon, and I am excited to continue serving Beaverton residents as I run for a full term on city council. My priorities remain the same: housing for all, a strong COVID-19 economic recovery, taking bold action against climate change, and increasing accessibility in Beaverton.

Growing up in Beaverton, I know firsthand the struggle that many Beaverton families are facing today. I had my first job at five years old, where my siblings and I went with our parents to their evening janitor job since childcare expenses were too great. Like my family, many Beaverton families are working multiple jobs to make ends me, and it is my goal and commitment that people who work in Beaverton can afford to live in Beaverton.

Beaverton is also the city I chose. During law school, I commuted to Salem while living in Beaverton because Beaverton is home. I am currently a software product manager and have experience in operations, technology, and law. You can often find me race walking the streets of Beaverton or supporting local businesses.

I am a hobby gardener, a loving dog mom to Cupcake, Timmy, and Dottie, and wife to Brady.
