Bold Beaverton is an emerging Political Action Committee organized to support progressive candidates running for office to fight for our communities. The PAC is directed by three progressive leaders – Beaverton Mayor Lacey Beaty, Beaverton City Council President Ashley Hartmeier-Prigg, and Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) Board President Felicita Monteblanco. These leaders have been working hard for years to identify and support emerging and progressive candidates. They’ve knocked THOUSANDS of doors and raised THOUSANDS of dollars to help elect candidates who advocate for policies that benefit our communities directly.  And because community power is stronger together they’ve launched Bold Beaverton to keep the momentum growing!

Last year Bold Beaverton gathered more than 50 folks to support Tina Kotek’s successful gubernatorial bid – pictures below! It was so much fun, we knew we had to do it again! This year, we’ll be raising funds for more racial equity and reproductive justice champions, climate change advocates, and BOLD candidates. Come out and meet these future leaders of our community, come play hard (or not), and champion a BOLD future for Beaverton!
